SUPREME RE-OPENS

Supreme re-opened yesterday with some really fly shit. A lot of new t-shirts were sold out QUICK and the lines were out the door. I even heard people were sleeping outside for the Dipset shirt!?!? (SMH) I wonder if they knew that they'll be recieving more of the dipset t-shirts today?

Shout out to my boy Faro, he's been tag'n up the city hard. Be on the look out for this Egyptian king.

Akir's Release Party

Last week was Akir's album release party for Legacy. Some of you may know Akir from Immortal Technique's album Revolutionary Volume Two, for the "One" Remix track. A lot of people came out to support and perform. Majesty kicked off the show, followed by Diabolic, Hasan Salaam, Poison Pen, then the one and only Killah Priest of the Wu Tang Clan. After Killah Priest, Akir did a lot of joints from the album. The album itself is crazy, my picks are "Tropical Fantasy" with Jean Grae, and "Legacy" with Veks One and Mas-D. The release party was a beautiful thing, its refreshing to know artists are still upholding the culture. After Akir performed, Tech dropped some shit. Overall it was a successful release party, and had a mad good time!

Mass Appeal Magazine Isuue #38 Release party

On saturday Mass Appeal Magazine had an issue release party at the Canal chapter. The night was sponsored by Vodka and Redbull and what do you get when you mix the two? Check out the pics of everyone who took a few sips. Team Facelift and Apathy did their thing and represented hard with the music and rhymes. After my fith cup of that red juice, the rest of the night was just a blur. So check out our gallery section for details of the night.

SOHO chill day

Last night the crew rolled to the Mass Appeal party. Photos and blog will be up soon. Today, official chill day in Soho. Quan Luv, Rick Star, Dre, Johnny and I went skating around and just met up with some people. Met a cool ass dude from Japan, he was sick with the skateboard. Shouts to you wherever you are. Waitin for Lacole outside of Supreme we met this photographer, he was takin mad shots of them skating. Went down to Aron's shop, chilled there for a while and met up with Natalie from Brown Babies LA. Got somethin to eat in Chinatown, then bounced early for the night.

Fashion show part deux?

BACKKKK in the day, before anyone knew what A.L.I.E.N was, Quan Luv was selling t-shirts to St. Johns students to make ends meet. He was invited to showcase some of his pieces at their fashion show that was sponsored by Complex Magazine. The crowd went wild for this new hip style that these wierdos introduced and this year team A.L.I.E.N has been invited once again to show their Spring/Summer '06 pieces at St. Johns Universities fashion show. The show will be in april and A.L.I.EN the crew will be there for full coverage.

a New York thing pick up

Yesterday I swung by A-rons shop to see how everything was. He spoke a lot of knowledge about the street game and really gave me some helpful advice. He also blessed me with some aNYthing goods. Big shout out to the whole Gangstore staff. Everytime i'm in there, everyone is mad cool.

Expect to see some serious stuff from aNYthing soon. A-ron is straight focused in the game.

A friend of mine asked me, "Yo Q, how do you feel knowing that you started a trend that is become very main stream?" I told him, "I don't like saying that i'm the ONLY one who started this style. Yes, I helped start this movement but my inspiration comes from a lot of different places. I want to give a shout out to the underground crews...." There's a lot more to this conversation and it will be up soon. Sometime next week. I'm going to let you guys get into the brain of an A.L.I.E.N.

Gravis release @ Recon NORT

Last night, Quan and I met up and went to the realease party of Gravis @ Recon NORT. The party went on from 6pm until 8pm and they had free drinks and giveaway tees. As I was in the party I called up some friends of mine to come through and so they showed up but the security didn't let them in beacause they said " you guys are not on the list..!" dude, there was no list... sme BS.. but we still met up wit them right after the party! and everyone was starving so Quan, Rose aka Radio Rose the stylist, couple of my friends, and I went to get something to eat! as u could see Quan's burger..ahahah!!( he really had a cheese smile on that big A** bacon and cheeseburger!) then right after that, we just stop by and checked out the after party @ 323 SOHO to see whats poppin'..
